Impacts and Implications of BC Passing the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples

Late 2019, the BC Legislature passed a bill implementing the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).  This legislation creates a framework for reconciliation in B.C and requires that Indigenous peoples are included in all decision making that impacts their rights, among other things.
