Looking at bring people through your doors? Want to showcase your business or venue? Consider hosting a BBOT Members’ Mixer.
BBOT Members’ Mixers are casual receptions hosted by local businesses. The receptions function as networking events for members to connect and socialize with one another and are always free for members to attend. Depending on the venue, date and venue capacity, our reception attendance tends to range from 40 to 80 people and are typically held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays between 5:30pm and 8:00pm.
Hosting a BBOT Members’ Mixer is a great way to showcase your business and bring people through your doors who might not otherwise know who you are. We help you publicize the reception and your business by promoting it across our various communication channels, including our bbot.ca website, e-newsletter and Voice of Burnaby newspaper. Where applicable, you will be highlighted with your logo, hyperlinks to your website, and a short company bio.
At the event itself, the host provides some complimentary food and beverages for the members, and is given opportunity to speak to the attendees, distribute promotional materials, and to conduct tours of the facility. We provide pre-registration of attendees through the Burnaby Board of Trade office and will communicate the number of registered attendees prior to the event. In addition, BBOT staff will be on hand to organize and run the event.
