Burnaby Board of Trade and Business Community Celebrate Lunar New Year
The Burnaby Board of Trade (BBOT) brought together 150 professionals and community leaders from across the region to celebrate the Lunar New Year and the diversity of our business community at a special banquet on January 30th in Burnaby.
Guests enjoyed a 10-course banquet of Chinese specialties, punctuated with three live cultural performances, greetings from Burnaby Mayor Mike Hurley, a lucky draw, and great networking opportunities throughout the night. The BBOT believes in bringing together the breadth and diversity of our business community to explore collaboration and partnership, and this event provided another great opportunity to do so.
The BBOT’s Lunar New Year Banquet is an annual, multicultural celebration that is organized by the BBOT’s Pacific Gateway Committee, a group of local business leaders who help organize events related to Asia-Pacific and trade issues, help meet visiting international delegations, and develop and monitor public policy related to international business.
