Working Man’s Closet- an Initiative by Fraser Works Co-op
Fraser Works Co-op has implemented a great initiative called “Working Man’s Closet” which aims to provide professional interview clothing for men, free of charge, during their job searches.
Currently, the service is available one day a week and on a referral only basis. Those who have received the service say it has provided motivation to continue their job search and confidence in their ability to successfully find employment.
The project is accepting clothing donations for lightly used men’s business clothing including collared shirts, dress pants, suit jackets, dress shoes, belts, and ties. You can also donate your time through volunteering and helping clients select their outfits as well as through picking up donations.
