On November 2nd , 2017 a sold-out crowd of over 350 business professionals and community leaders attended the 18th annual Burnaby Business Excellence Awards Gala to celebrate the best of Burnaby business.

The Burnaby Business Excellence Awards are a joint initiative of the City of Burnaby and the Burnaby Board of Trade and recognize Burnaby-based businesses, entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations for excellence across 9 different award categories.
As part of the Burnaby Business Excellence Awards program, one long-time Burnaby business is inducted in the Burnaby Business Hall of Fame each year as recognition of a history of continued business success, leadership, and community commitment.
The winners of the 2017 Burnaby Business Excellence Awards were:
Healthy Workplace – For a business that has recognized the importance of supporting employees as they balance the demands and responsibilities of both work and home roles, and has created a flexible and supportive workplace and culture with “family-friendly” policies and practices.
