GVFB Mayors’ Food Bank Challenge 2023 Fundraiser

GVFB Mayors’ Food Bank Challenge 2023 Fundraiser

It’s time for the return of our annual Mayors’ Food Bank Challenge! For this year’s challenge, the Mayors of Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, and the City of North Vancouver will come together to raise funds for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.

More and more of your neighbours are turning to food banks to help make ends meet. As of April 2023, the GVFB is providing food to a record number of clients and registering between 800 and 1000 new clients monthly.

By pledging your support to the mayor of your municipality, you can help the GVFB provide healthy food in our communities for as long as needed.

“I have always said that when we have an opportunity to lift others up, we should always take that opportunity. This friendly challenge is my opportunity to lift Burnaby up to help those in need. It is important to support this campaign to continue the work of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, as they serve more than 4,000 Burnaby residents. Let’s work together and help them make a difference.
