Burnaby Board of Trade’s Annual Golf Tournament: Call for Partner Charity Submissions

The Burnaby Board of Trade is now accepting submissions from organizations interested in being the Partner Charity at the BBOT’s 2016 Annual Golf Tournament.

Each year, the Burnaby Board of Trade designates one member non-profit organization to be the Partner Charity at its annual Golf Tournament. At the tournament, the BBOT and the participants raise money through a variety of activities to benefit the Partner Charity.

The Partner Charity must be:

  • a charity or non-profit organization
  • a BBOT member
  • able to provide 10-15 staff or volunteers on the tournament day
  • willing to promote the tournament and source players and prizes as needed
  • willing to attend monthly Golf Planning Committee meetings

Interested organizations should submit the following information by March 18, 2016 to the attention of Cory Redekop by email (cory@bbot.ca) or fax (604.412.0102):

  • Name of Organization
  • Contact Information
  • Explanation of how the funds raised would benefit your organization
  • How your involvement could help the tournament be successful
  • Contact Person
  • Description of the services/programs your organization provides and details of your specific involvement/activity in Burnaby and impact on the Burnaby community
  • Any other relevant information

All applications will be evaluated by our Executive Committee and all applicants will be contacted once a decision has been made.
