Burnaby Board of Trade joins 350 business and government leaders for BC-Korea Trade & Investment Forum

The Burnaby Board of Trade and several members of the its Pacific Gateway Committee represented the Burnaby business community at a special trade and investment forum focused on the Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement. The forum, organized by the Government of British Columbia, featured panels of business and trade experts explaining the new trade agreement and the opportunities that exist for Canadian businesses to export goods and services into Korea.

The forum also featured special remarks by Hon. Ed Fast (federal Minister of International Trade) and Hon. Teresa Wat (provincial Minister of International Trade) and a keynote address by Premier Christy Clark who spoke of the potential benefits of more local companies doing business in Korea and the many government services that are in place to help businesses success internationally.
