Burnaby Board of Trade Saddened at the Passing of Burnaby City Councillor Paul McDonnell

The  Burnaby Board of Trade is saddened at the recent passing of Burnaby City Councillor Paul McDonell. Known as “Mr. Burnaby” Paul was a dedicated member of the community who served on Burnaby council since 1996. Previous to that Paul worked for the Vancouver Fire Department for 35 years, retiring in 1997 with the rank of Deputy Chief. McDonell was a United Way board member for seven years, its chair from 1995-2002, and a campaign cabinet member from 2011-16.
