Burnaby Board of Trade Launches “Local Business Support Grant” Program

The Burnaby Board of Trade is pleased to announce the launch of the “Local Business Support Grant,” an unprecedented program amongst chambers of commerce, to support our members in their efforts to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and prepare themselves for the post-pandemic marketplace.

The Grant will be directly funded and administered by the Burnaby Board of Trade, and will be offered through The Centre for Burnaby Business Recovery and Resilience, the hub for all of the Burnaby Board of Trade’s programming related to the ongoing pandemic.

“The Burnaby Board of Trade exists to serve and support our membership, and as our business community looks to move past the pandemic we want to ensure they have the tools they need to both get through the next few months and then position themselves for success moving forward,” says Paul Holden, President & CEO of the Burnaby Board of Trade.

Grants of up to $5,000 will be made available through the Grant to help businesses purchase essential equipment and tools or access training and skills development, and also will be available to help non-profits deliver important community programming.
