Translink- Evergreen Extension
Translink is thrilled to announce the Millennium Line Evergreen Extension will open December 2, 2016!
With the goal of integrating the bus network with the Evergreen Extension, they are in the process of finalizing changes to bus routes and updating more than 1,000 bus stop signs across the Northeast Sector and will share specifics with customers before they introduce the changes, so you can plan your commute in advance.
With the addition of six new SkyTrain stations and 11 km of new track, the Evergreen Extension is a significant expansion of their integrated transportation network, and will provide customers with a direct ride from Coquitlam and Port Moody to VCC–Clark Station.
The Evergreen Extension will connect to the existing SkyTrain system, regional bus network, and West Coast Express. The six new Millennium Line stations will include Lafarge Lake–Douglas, Lincoln, Coquitlam Central, Inlet Centre, Moody Centre, and Burquitlam.
Once the Evergreen Extension is operational, Metro Vancouver will have the longest, fully-automated, driverless, rapid-transit system in the world.
