Transit Fare Review — Have Your Say
Yesterday, TransLink announced the start of public and stakeholder engagement for the final phase of the Transit Fare Review, which is looking at reworking how fares are charged to use the transit system.
In this final consultation, Translink has proposed to move to a distance-based pricing structure for SkyTrain, SeaBus and future rapid rail projects and keeping a flat fare for bus travel, and is asking for feedback on this new fare structure.

In recognition of the importance of transit and transportation to our members, the Burnaby Board of Trade has been an active participant in several phases on consultations on this issue, advocating for the interested of businesses, fleets, and employees.
