Scandinavian Midsummer Festival (20th Annual)

Location: Scandinavian Community Centre, Burnaby; 6540 Thomas St (Kensington Ave & Sprott St; Exit 32 Eastbound, Exit 33 Westbound, from Hwy#1)
Join over 5000 people and celebrate Midsummer at the Scandinavian Community Centre June 20 & 21! Gates open at 10am on Saturday: Tickets $10 at the gates; Under 16yrs FREE and Parking is FREE! Fun for the entire family!
This years’ theme is Capital Cities: there will be cultural displays, a Nordic market place & crafters, lots of Scandinavian foods, kids activities, continuous entertainment, a Vintage Volvo display, raising of the Midsummer Pole on Saturday ~noon, a Midsummer bonfire Saturday night, and a Beer Garden for those that are legal drinking age!
There will also be a Viking Village with Real Vikings!
