Put BCIT Computing Students to Work with Your Project

BCIT ISSP

BCIT’s School of Computing and Academic Studies has a long-standing reputation for producing graduates with job-ready skills for the IT industry.

The Industry Sponsored Student Projects program (ISSP) provides students with real-life experience by working on IT or software development projects directly from industry. Students work in teams or individually with an industry sponsor, proceeding through the development life-cycle to develop IT or software solutions. The ISSP program is an important educational component and is of mutual benefit to both sponsors and students.

While the ISSP winter term is still underway, we’re already looking ahead to the Spring term when our Computing students can take on around 80 projects.

The spring term starts between April 19 – April 28, depending on which program takes on the project. It deviates from other terms because it only lasts 5 weeks, but the student teams will work full-time on your project versus part-time during the fall and winter terms.

If you have an IT project that needs a push to get it jumpstarted, or finished submit it by March 23.
