Province provides timely support for fairs, festivals, events
Through the BC Fair, Festivals and Events (BCFFE) Fund, the BC Government is committing $30 million in one-time grant funding to support live events in local communities throughout the province. Live events, such as sporting events, arts and culture events, community celebrations, agricultural fairs and rodeos, are a significant boast to our visitor economy and local businesses that support them. The funding will support operational costs, health-and-safety measures, venue rental, marketing, wages and promotion.
Applications will be accepted until March 3, 2023 for events that run between April 1, 2023, and Dec. 31, 2024.
