New Spring Programs at the Burnaby Art Gallery

Bookbinding to Printmaking & Pinot

From bookbinding to printmaking workshops, the Burnaby Art Gallery (BAG) is offering a wide array of new art programs this spring. Public programs at the BAG are designed to encourage interaction with works in the exhibitions and the City of Burnaby Permanent Art Collection. With an emphasis on printmaking and related media, BAG’s experienced instructors help students balance skill development with personal expression and creative thinking.
“The Burnaby Art Gallery has some enticing new programs on offer for children and adults this Spring, including Collage Party, a free family event and Printmaking & Pinot classes for adults, inspired by the feature exhibits this season. Participants are encouraged to explore their creativity in the cozy atmosphere of the Fireside studio,” says Christina Froschauer, Fine Arts Programmer.

Looking ahead to summer, registration is now open for the Burnaby Art Gallery’s week-long summer art camps. Young artists unleash their creativity with fun, engaging, hands-on art classes while making new friends. Adults can also join in the summer fun with new summer workshop series including Art on a Paddle, Printmaking & Wine and Drawing & Wine.
