Local Procurement Opportunities with Trans Mountain Expansion Project

Should the proposed Trans Mountain Expansion Project be approved, there will be many opportunities for local businesses to participate in the project.

If approval is received, Trans Mountain anticipates that early works (access roads, right-of-way clearing, etc.) could start in June 2016 with pipeline construction beginning in September 2016.  The Project is anticipated to require approximately $4.5 billion in goods and services.

Trans Mountain’s procurement registry was launched in fall of 2013, and more than 1,200 companies have signed up so far. All individuals and businesses signing up through the registry will receive a call from the procurement team and will be provided with additional information regarding pre-qualification requirements.

Local businesses can sign up for the procurement registry at https://csi.kindermorgan.com/csi.
