BBOT Member Clio Announces Substantial Venture Capital Funding, Expansion

The Burnaby Board of Trade was pleased to join member Clio today for their announcement of $250 million USD in venture capital funding to support their expansion.  This funding, announced by Clio CEO Jack Newton today, will create hundreds of new jobs as the company grows, with the majority located right here in Burnaby.

Clio is a cloud-based software company which services the legal industry.  In 2015, Clio was named the Business of the Year and Jack Newton Businessperson of the Year at the BBOT’s Burnaby Business Excellence Awards.

As a catalyst for economic growth, the Burnaby Board of Trade applauds this announcement and will support Clio in its endeavors to grow and scale here in Burnaby.
