Apply for Subsidized Summer Students to Work in Your Business or Non-Profit

Deadline to Apply—this Friday, February 2nd!

Are you feeling the labour crunch in your business?

Take advantage of the Canada Summer Jobs program to find students to work in your business this spring and summer—plus get their wages subsidized to help your business succeed!

Canada Summer Jobs is a federal government initiative which businesses and non-profits can take advantage of to secure subsidized student employees to work this coming summer.

The program provides wage subsidies to employers to create employment for secondary and post-secondary students, at up to 50% of minimum wage for businesses and up to 100% for non-profits.

Are you eligible?  Businesses with up to 50 full time employees are eligible to apply for funding for positions which must last between 6 and 16 weeks.  These positions must be meaningful positions that provide experience to the student and make contributions to the business.

Find out more about eligibility and how to apply online here, or download the application guide here.
