International Connection Program
The International Connection Program connects Burnaby’s business community with industries and opportunities from around the world, fostering a more globally engaged and culturally integrated business network. The program highlights priority topics including trade, investment, education, and cultural exchange, helping businesses expand connections and explore new opportunities internationally.
In 2026, the program will feature several signature events:
Lunar New Year Banquet
A multicultural celebration attended by 200 business and political leaders from Burnaby and Metro Vancouver. This annual event offers sponsors a high-profile opportunity to engage with a diverse business community and strengthen global connections.
Business Connection Receptions
Two to three receptions throughout the year where professionals from across Burnaby’s diverse business community can meet, network, and share experiences, all in a welcoming and engaging environment.
