New Appointments at Variety – The Children’s Charity
Variety – The Children¹s Charity is pleased to announce two new appointments to its management team: Dave McConachie as Interim Executive Director and Molly Loudon as the Manager of Business Development.
Ms. Loudon brings an extensive background in sales, business development and project management in a diverse range of industries including international business training, online radio and the culinary arts. She holds an MA (Hons) in Sociology from the University of Glasgow, and an MSc in International Tourism and Business Management from the University of Strathclyde. Ms. Loudon has been actively involved as a volunteer with Variety since 2009.
Since 1996 Mr. McConachie has lent his support to Variety in numerous capacities, serving as President on the Board of Directors from 2012 to 2014, head of the Finance Committee for the Show of Hearts Telethon, and recently as Past President. As Interim Executive Director, Mr. McConachie brings a wealth of business knowledge as well as leadership in a non-profit organization through his experience as a Director on the Richmond Chamber of Commerce and the Okanagan Valley Entrepreneurs Society.
