“Local Business Support Grant” Featured Recipient – MJY Fabrication


In response to the challenges of COVID-19, the Burnaby Board of Trade launched a grant program to support our members that was unprecedented amongst chambers of commerce and boards of trade.  Funded and administered directly by the BBOT, the Local Business Support Grant sought to help our local members invest in new equipment, education or other resources to support their businesses through this next phase of the pandemic, and position themselves for a stronger recovery.   Read our features on some of the businesses who participated in this program:

Local Business Support Grant recipient is: MJY Fabrication 

From their south Burnaby workshop, MJY Fabrication builds custom woodwork from cabinetry and millwork to unique display pieces and sculptures.

MJY works with wood, acrylic, and soft metals to create custom designs and products to suit the exact needs of their clients.   Among their services, MJY does an incredible job in custom millwork and cabinetry for residential and commercial spaces, wood-based product prototyping and manufacturing, and one-of-a-kin builds for artists, events, tradeshows, and individuals.

With support from the Burnaby Board of Trade’s Local Business Support Grant, MJY Fabrication is expanding their online marketing efforts to be able to bring their unique, custom creations to more customers and clients, and grow the business.
