BBOT Holds Hybrid State of the City Event with Mayor Hurley; Recording Now Available

The Burnaby Board of Trade again led the region in returning to safe, in-person business events by holding a hybrid State of the City Address event with Mayor Mike Hurley on July 8.

With restrictions lessened by the province, a limited in-person element of the event was held to watch live the Mayor’s annual update on City of Burnaby priorities, while a livestream of the event was made available to all in the business community to watch remotely.

In 2020, the Burnaby Board of Trade was the first chamber of commerce in the region to hold an in-person event, and are pleased to again be demonstrating how to follow the direction of health officials while holding safe, more-normal business operations.

Missed the event? The recording is now available, including Mayor Hurley’s full presentation, as well as the one-on-one discussion portion where Mayor Hurley and BBOT President & CEO Paul Holden tackled questions submitted by event registrants. Click here to watch, or view the video below!

This annual event is a highlight of the BBOT’s calendar, and would not be possible without the support of our sponsors.
