BBOT Holds Annual Golf Tournament Bringing Together Business Community & Raising Nearly $6,000 for Local Charity
On September 15, the Burnaby Board of Trade held its annual BBOT Golf Tournament bringing together 150 business and community leaders to reconnect on the greens of Burnaby’s Riverway Golf Course while raising money for local charity Pacific Assistance Dogs Society.
After being unable to host its annual end-of-summer tradition in 2020 due to the pandemic, the Burnaby Board of Trade was eager to create this opportunity for professionals from across the city and region to meet, celebrate and connect over a fun day of golf.
This year, golfers enjoyed a patio BBQ lunch, fun activities and contests throughout the 18 holes, and a delicious dinner banquet to wrap up the tournament. The partner charity for the 2021 tournament was Pacific Assistance Dogs Society, which trains and places assistance dogs to support people living with disabilities and trauma. Through sales of 50/50 tickets and entries into the BBOT’s Charity Raffle, nearly $6,000 was raised to support the charities work.
The Burnaby Board of Trade thanks all of our sponsors, participants, and donors who made the return to our annual tournament this year such a success!
