Program Coordinator
Reporting to the Director of Programs and Events, the Program Coordinator will play a vital role in delivering impactful programming that supports workforce development, education, and business growth. You will plan, execute, and measure success across BBOT’s programs while ensuring participants and partners are engaged and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute BBOT’s core programs that support workforce development, education, and business growth.
- Collaborate with the Director of Programs and Events to ensure programs align with BBOT’s strategic goals and deliver measurable results.
- Engage stakeholders, including post-secondary institutions, employers, and community partners, to grow program participation and impact.
- Develop and execute event logistics, schedules, and materials for program delivery.
- Monitor program performance, collect feedback, and implement improvements.
- Assist with reporting, data collection, and sharing success stories with internal and external audiences.
- Support policy development initiatives as needed, leveraging your understanding of business issues, workforce trends, or political science.
What You Bring:
- Education & Experience: Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., business, political science, education, or event planning). Previous experience coordinating programs or events is a strong asset.
- Passion & Drive: A genuine enthusiasm for supporting local businesses, workforce development, and post-secondary education initiatives.
- Organization & Detail: Proven ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and ensure a seamless participant experience.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for program promotion, reporting, and partner engagement.
- Bonus Skills: Interest or experience in policy development, community advocacy, or business-government relations.
