“Local Business Support Grant” Featured Recipient – Rodan Jewellers

In response to the challenges of COVID-19, the Burnaby Board of Trade launched a grant program to support our members that was unprecedented amongst chambers of commerce and boards of trade.  Funded and administered directly by the BBOT, the Local Business Support Grant sought to help our local members invest in new equipment, education or other resources to support their businesses through this next phase of the pandemic, and position themselves for a stronger recovery.   Read our features on some of the businesses who participated in this program:

This week’s featured
Local Business Support Grant recipient is: Rodan Jewellers

Rodan Jewellers, a family business established in 1976 by Rob Davidson, is one of the longest standing and most historic jewellers in British Columbia.  Rodan Jewellers is more than just a jewelry store, as they have highly-trained in-house goldsmiths that can do everything from simple repairs to full custom design work.

With support from the Burnaby Board of Trade’s Local Business Support Grant, Rodan Jewellers has been able to acquire the latest in technology for use in their shop, including 3D printers and CAD design, to expand the services and products they can offer their clients.
