Variety – The Children’s Charity Announces Three New Team Members

BURNABY, BC – Variety – The Children’s Charity is pleased to announce the recent addition of three members to its team: Cally Wesson, Director of Development; Michael Keller, Manager, Marketing and Communications; and Ruby Bhandal, Executive Assistant. Ms. Wesson has a BA from the University of Alberta and an Asia Pacific Management Diploma from MacEwan University. She brings to Variety a strong background in fund development, having worked with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and the Alberta Diabetes Foundation. Mr. Keller is a communications generalist with eight years of experience specializing in commercial and informational copywriting and editing, project management, web management, media relations, and strategic planning. He comes to Variety from the Burnaby Board of Trade, where he served in the role of Corporate Communications Coordinator for the past five years. Ms. Bhandal brings over two decades of experience in various management and event planning projects. She has extensive networking and communications experience in the Surrey school district, municipal, and provincial levels of government. Prior to joining Variety, Ms. Bhandal worked in management in the construction industry.
