Vancouver Fraser Port Authority Laying the Foundations for a Brighter Future

Vancouver Fraser Port Authority recently released a television ad highlighting how they are laying the foundations for a brighter future, including investing in businesses and creating local jobs.

As our province and nation moves towards reopening and economic recovery, together with our partners, we are continuing to work on more than a billion dollars-worth of local infrastructure projects across the Metro Vancouver region. Construction work is underway at six sites and eight other projects are moving through planning, design, and engagement stages. These include the building of rail and road infrastructure such as underpasses and overpasses and terminal and facility upgrades, and the creation of fish and wildlife habitat.

The projects are designed to accommodate future growth in trade by improving the movement of goods to and from the port and enabling new trade capacity for Canadian businesses while also improving traffic flow and safety in local neighbourhoods. And now, these projects represent a much-needed boost to the economy and are laying the foundations for a brighter future.
