Out & About – Queer Experiences of Public Spaces, Presented by Vancity Brentwood & Tri-Cities Branches

Vancity Presents Out & About: Queer Experiences of Public Spaces looks at our understanding of how public spaces are experienced by queer & LGBT2SQ+ persons. How are parks, community programming, and other public spaces experienced by members of LGBTSQ+ communities? How can we make sure that we are creating programming and spaces that queer people can feel comfortable in?

Donnie Rosa: General Manager – Parks, Recreation & Culture at the City of Coquitlam, President Elect at the BC Recreation & Parks Association, Board Member at the Canadian Parks & Recreation Association.
Brandon Yan: Executive Director – Out on Film, former city council candidate, and former city planning commissioner.
Rodney Stehr: Graduate Studies (Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (MSc)) at UBC
