Free Family Mediation Information Session from MyLawBC

Legal Aid BC has developed the Family Resolution Centre, the first tool of its kind in Canada., which allows separated and divorced parents to work together to create a parenting plan that’s in the best interests of their children, and if they can’t, get access to 5 hours of free mediation.

As part of this initiative, next week a free mediation information session is being held in Burnaby where a lawyer and mediator will share tips, resources, and information about dispute resolution that can help save time, money and stress when navigating a separation.

The session will discuss the Family Resolution Centre and upcoming changes to Divorce Act, before ending off with a legal info one-on-one and Q&A session.  Attendees will also learn about other Legal Aid BC free legal information and referral services!

Are you going through a separation or know someone who is? Don’t miss this valuable session!
