Business in Vancouver has launched a new awards event aimed at celebrating Chief Information Officers, Chief Technology Officers, and others in top IT posts across BC with the goal of recognizing standout technology leadership and breakthrough innovation at all types of companies.
The inaugural BC CTO Awards will recognize top technology leaders in multiple categories at public companies, private companies, and non-profit organizations. Up to seven winning IT executives will be profiled in the August 27th issue of Business in Vancouver and honoured at a special awards event in September 2019, bringing together some of the most influential people in Vancouver’s business community. Nominations are now open for the BC CTO Awards program and can be submitted via the online nomination form at Honourees arechosen based on their ability to use technology in innovative ways that create acompetitive advantage, optimize business processes, enable company growth, and impact the company’s the bottom line.

Furthermore, all honourees will have demonstrated leadership and initiative to make a difference at the company and in the industry at large. An independent panel of judges will review all nominations and make recommendations on winners based on information provided in each nomination package. Completed nominations, including supporting materials must be received by Business in Vancouver no later than noon on July 2, 2019.
