Burnaby Young Professionals Network Unveils Membership Model at Steamworks in Burnaby

On Feb 1st the Burnaby Young Professionals Network (BYPN) unveiled their membership model at Steamworks, Burnaby.  After sharing a pint with the group, President and CEO Paul Holden shared that the Burnaby Board of Trade is committed to the development of young professionals in Burnaby.  The BYPN group that has been working with the BBOT to develop the program, re-capped some of the past successful events hosted over the last year such as:

  • Entrepreneurship panel with some local entrepreneurs Andrew Harries, Jill Earthy & Amelia Warren
  • A conversation with MP Terry Beach about how civic engagement and entrepreneurship can create an exciting career.
  • Lawn Bowls Social
  • Vision Board Goal Setting Workshop

Steamworks Brew Social was well received with a sold out crowd. Thanks to Steamworks for taking the group on a tour and for offering $4 frothy ales!  BYPN’s  next event will be on March 8th focused on financial planning fundamentals for professionals and entrepreneurs.
