Burnaby Christmas Bureau’s Toy Room Open House

This year marks Burnaby Community Services’ 37th year of operating the Burnaby Christmas Bureau and they are hosting an Open House in their Toy Room to celebrate! Click here to learn more and to sign up for this free event!

Maybe you’ve heard of the Christmas Bureau before but never knew what it was, or perhaps you’ve always wondered how you can make a difference during the holiday season but never knew how?

What is the Burnaby Christmas Bureau?

Through the Christmas Bureau, we offer hampers for seniors and individuals who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness, as well as gifts for children of families with low income. Last year, we made the holiday season brighter for 3,016 people – including 1,667 children, 86 seniors, and 60 unique individuals.
Our goal is to share the holiday spirit by making sure that everyone has a present under the tree on Christmas morning!

What to expect from the event?

Come over, have some festive food, buy some raffles, make a bid on an silent auction item, and learn about:
1. Where to drop off a toy or other donations.
2. What it would take to sponsor a family during Christmas.
3. How to host an Angel Project at work, school, or home.
4. Ways to volunteer.
5. And most importantly, why the Christmas Bureau exists.

Bring your family and friends and be a part of this one-of-a-kind holiday gathering in the community. Let’s all celebrate the joy of giving, together!
