Submit your project before December 1st for the upcoming January term.
|What does ISSP offer you?|
|n A low-risk, low cost approach to your tech project / challenge
n A practical way to evaluate potential employees
n A feasible way to groom internal leaders/mentors
|Participating Programs – These programs prepare students to be software developers and IT professionals.|
|n Computer Systems Technology Diploma|
|Project terms||September, January, and April|
|Application deadlines||About four weeks prior term start|
|Scope||400 accumulative hours by all students in the team|
|Sponsor’s Participation Fee||$500 (per project selected, per term. Free for non-profits.)|
|Skills Students Have (depending on the programs and option specializations):|
|Programming languages and platforms
n Java, C, C++, C#, DHTML
n PHP, ASP.NET
n Windows, Linux
n iOS, Android
n SQL, UML
n Oracle, Apache, Cisco
n And more…
|Other technical skills:
n Application software development using programming languages
n Develop and maintain complex software systems that integrate scalable components
n Database, systems integration, network administration and security, web technology and cloud computing
n Ability to independently learn and adopt new tools, technologies and methods
n And more…
|Suitable Projects – any software and IT projects including (but not limited to):|
|n Proof-of-concept apps or prototypes
n Web development and web apps
n Mobile apps
n Digital Games
|n Task automation
n Software or systems testing and deployment
n Migration of systems to the cloud
n Network admin and security
