BCBusiness Announces Top 100 Event: An Afternoon With Jim Treliving
BCBusiness is excited to announce the 30th anniversary of the Top 100 luncheon, a celebration of B.C.’s largest companies, taking place on Thursday, June 20 from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. As the biggest networking event in the city, this year’s Top 100 event will feature special guest Jim Treliving, one of Canada’s most renowned business leaders.
Jim Treliving, Chairman and Owner of Boston Pizza International and veteran Dragon on CBC’s Dragons’ Den, will share stories of his success in business. Starting from a single restaurant franchise, Treliving came from humble beginnings and eventually grew a $1-billion international empire. With more than 50 years of entrepreneurial experience, he will provide invaluable advice to all in attendance.
The Top 100 luncheon coincides with the publication of the July/August issue of BCBusiness, which features the magazine’s annual ranking of the province’s biggest companies by revenue.
“The Top 100 has changed over the past three decades as the B.C. economy grew and diversified,” says Editor-In-Chief Nick Rockel. “But our latest ranking includes several names that have made the list year after year.”
