BBOT Applauds Translink Service Improvements

The Burnaby Board of Trade (BBOT) is applauding Translink for service improvements made to bus routes in Burnaby and across the region this month, as part of Translink’s service optimization process.

Four times a year TransLink updates its bus service schedules to reflect seasonal changes in customer demand and to optimize service, and the most recent changes include much-needed improvements to major routes in Burnaby, including the #116 in the growing Big Bend business district.

On that route, service during the weekday morning rush is being increased to buses running every 12-20 minutes, up from every 15-30 minutes.  This is a great improvement on a bus route which the BBOT first helped get extended in 2014 to serve this major business district.
