BBOT Meets with Irish Consul General

Burnaby Board of Trade President & CEO Paul Holden met with the Consul General of Ireland, Frank Flood on June 11 to discuss the relationship between Burnaby, BC, and Ireland.

The Government of Ireland is opening 8 new missions and offices all along the west coast of North America, with the Consulate in Vancouver serving as the major hub.

The BBOT and the Consul General discussed opportunities for Burnaby business with Ireland, including in the film/tv, digital animation, technology, food/drink, and education/research sectors.

The BBOT has many relationships with Consulates, trade promotion offices, and economic development organizations from around the world, and can make introductions and connections to agencies able to provide assistance with export and import efforts, and market entry.
